Carol Service - 20 December 2020

We are delighted that our online service this week takes the form of a carol service. Whilst this is not the traditional way we join together at this festive time nevertheless, we hope it brings you much joy, and helps you to feel connected with one another as we raise our voices and sing in anticipation of the Good News of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Advent 3 - 13 December 2020

Our online service this week is one of Holy Communion. Do participate in the act of worship in whatever way feels right to you. If this means having bread and wine as part of this, then we would encourage you to do so. In this service, the mystery of the sacrament meets the mystery of the internet, so there is plenty of room for the work of the Holy Spirit.

Christingle 6 December 2020

Our Christingle Service, involving children from Dunnington primary school and young people from St Nicholas church. Along with many churches, we use our Christingle service to raise awareness of, and money for, The Children’s Society. Last year they received £1.2 million from Christingle services, and the services and support they offer young people is even more important during this pandemic. If you can support the Society’s work with vulnerable children please do so via our Christingle fundraising page https://thyg.uk/CUS048186. Alternatively you can leave a donation at The Rectory in Dunnington or with Ennis Tweddle in Stockton in a marked envelope. Thank you!
