5. Worship & Prayer

Sunday Services in the benefice

Our online Sunday worship is continuing, with a service of the Word, with songs and prayers, posted on the video page of this website, and on our YouTube channel each Sunday and remaining available thereafter.

Do join us for a coffee and chat over Zoom at 11.30 each Sunday, once people have had a chance to participate in the service. Details on the calendar, or contact Rev Nick Bird

UPDATE - During the current lockdown, the Sunday services in Holy Trinity Stockton Church have ceased.

Holy Trinity Church, Stockton is also holding weekly Sunday services in the church building. Places are limited to 40 people, and must be reserved ahead of time by contacting Ennis Tweddle (Churchwarden) 400364/ennisjacksonuk@yahoo.co.uk. Places will be booked on a first come, first served basis.

It is mandatory by law for face coverings to be worn, unless one is exempt. Please only sit in designated seats and take your service sheet home afterwards. The service will be about 30 minutes long, and, sadly, no singing or hanging around afterwards to chat is permitted.

NEW - Monthly Prayer Meeting via Zoom

Revd Mark Poole invites you to join him for an informal time of prayer via Zoom.

We are hoping this can be a monthly event over the next three months whilst we are under the restrictions placed upon us due to the Coronavirus pandemic. We are anticipating this being forty five minutes to an hour maximum, commencing at 7:00pm, and it will be an opportunity to pray for the needs of our communities, our nation and our world especially during these difficult times. It will also be an opportunity for us to pray for God's mission in our benefice as we seek to serve in His Kingdom.

The first three sessions will be on the following dates:
Tuesday 10th November at 7:00pm
Monday 14th December at 7:00pm
Thursday 14th January 2021 at 7:00pm

You are very welcome to join one or more of these sessions. We can then review how we move forward after January. If you know anyone else who worships elsewhere and who may like to join us then please let them know the dates and forward the Zoom link so they can join us.

The Zoom invitations will be sent out a few days prior to each evening. Please contact Revd Mark Poole revmarkpoole20@gmail.com to receive an invitation.

If you do not wish to join us, but would like prayer, then let Mark know, including whether you are happy for this to be prayed for during the meeting.

Do you want someone to pray for you?

Every week in our intercessions at Church we offer prayers for the sick and now we have weekday worship in our Churches we would like to pray for the sick, bereaved or those in any kind of need. Please let Judith have any names.

If there is any other way that we can help you at this time, please contact one of the stewards.  Anne Castle 481656  Diane Conway 489495  Chris Spedding 481191
