Dunnington Sports Club
Many thanks to everyone who has supported us since we re-opened on Saturday July 4th. For the time being we will be continuing to open at weekends only, as follows:
Friday - 6.00pm until 11.00pm (Happy Hour 6.00pm – 7.00pm)
Saturday - 1.00pm until 11.00pm
Sunday - 3.00pm until 10.00pm
We have opened up the function room to extend the bar area creating a spacious indoor environment, allowing adequate table and seating spacing, to enable compliance with social distancing guidelines. There is also access to outdoor space on the balconies at the front, side and rear of the building. Additionally the following measures are in place, in line with Government guidance, to make your visit as safe and enjoyable as possible:
-
Please be seated in family / household (max 2) groups
-
Only one person at the bar from each group
-
Please queue at the floor markings up to the order and pay point. We are only able to accept contactless payment. (To minimise contact we are unable to accept discount cards.
-
In between each group the tables will be completely cleared, cleaned and sanitised
-
One person from each group will be asked to provide contact details, on arrival, to aid Government test & trace.
If you wish to reserve a table for a group or make a booking for a private function please call Nick on 01904 481039 or e-mail nick@dunningtonsportsclub.co.uk
Come and socialise safely with family and friends at Dunnington Sports Club!
In these uncertain times we are doing all we can to sustain this key community asset and offer the best service possible to our customers. We would ideally like to begin to provide food during our current opening hours, and in the near future extend our bar opening times and open the club for wider community use.
“Kitchen takeover” opportunity
The Directors of the Sports Club would like to hear from anyone with experience in hospitality catering who would be interested in using our kitchen facilities to provide a food offering to the Club’s clientele. Please contact Susan Sharman or Steve Saunders with a Facebook Direct Message or via e-mail dunningtonsc@gmail.com to discuss this opportunity.
Volunteers wanted
For Dunnington Sports Club to survive in the short to medium term and prosper in the long term, we need volunteers to help in the bar and catering operations. We would also be pleased to hear from anyone interested in joining the committee to assist in the general running and development of the Sports Club. Please contact Susan Sharman or Steve Saunders, as above, to discuss possibilities.
Due to the restrictions imposed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the future of Dunnington Sports Club is far from secure.
Your support for this valuable community asset can make all the difference between its survival and its closure!
