All church services and regular church and community group meetings and activities have been suspended until further notice.
Holy Trinity Church
We have a good network of telephone contacting with church membership and the ‘Silver Service’ crew. They are all extremely grateful for contact as some never leave the house.
Church members have enjoyed the compline and Sunday services and we thank the providers for this. We never know who is tuning in and hearing God’s word possibly for the first time.
Stockton and Hopgrove community network
The community network seems to be working well, with people receiving the support they need.
100 Club
The 100 club is not taking place during lockdown.
Local services still operating
Deans Garden Centre are doing home deliveries again. They are offering a 'local, no contact home delivery service for a limited range of plants and gardening products' within a delivery radius to 8 miles.
The Chippy Van is still at the village hall on Thursdays but can be very busy.
The Post Office at Orchard Nurseries is still open every Tuesday and Thursday morning, and you can get garden supplies at those times too. Orchard Nurseries will also deliver garden supplies, or prepare them for you to collect. Contact Chris Small on 01904 421153.
Tom’s Shop is also still open and he has lots of second hand bicycles availble, for a donation to charity. Pick up a bike and get out for a cycle for your daily exercise!
