Readings for Holy Week

We can pray and read the readings we would have at Church in our own homes and so be sharing together in this festival.

On Palm Sunday (28 March) you could read Matthew 21 v1-11
On Good Friday (2 April) the Passion of Christ can be found in John’ Gospel 18 v1-19 & 42
This year’s Easter Gospel, for Easter Sunday (4 April) is Mark 16.1-8

A Prayer for Holy Week

We give thanks to you, Lord, for you have done marvellous things!

When we were walking in darkness you were there,
when we were kneeling in weakness you were there,
when we drew near feeling worthless you were there,
when we were needing forgiveness you were there,
when we were searching for your grace you were there.

We give thanks to you, Lord, for you have done marvellous things!
