5. Church Worship

Sunday Services in the benefice

Our online Sunday worship is continuing, with a service of the Word, with songs and prayers, posted on the video page of this website, and on our YouTube channel each Sunday and remaining available thereafter.

Do join us for a coffee and chat over Zoom at 11.30 each Sunday, once people have had a chance to participate in the service. Contact Rev Nick Bird for details.

Stockton PCC have taken the decision to restart Sunday services in the church building, and their first one will take place on Sunday 4th October at 10.30am.

Places are limited to 40 people, and must be reserved ahead of time by contacting Ennis Tweddle (Churchwarden) 400364/ennisjacksonuk@yahoo.co.uk. Places will be booked on a first come, first served basis.

It is mandatory by law for face coverings to be worn, unless one is exempt. Please only sit in designated seats and take your service sheet home afterwards. The service will be about 30 minutes long, and, sadly, no singing or hanging around afterwards to chat is permitted.

We shall, however, gather to worship God, to pray for our parish and benefice, and to celebrate Harvest. Revd. Nick Bird

Dunnington PCC have decided to not start services in the building just yet, but will review again in mid October. Warthill PCC have also decided to postpone and will review this again in January. Holtby PCC have yet to meet to make a decision.

Wednesday Evening Compline

Each week we have a short service of night prayer held live over Zoom at 7.00pm on Wednesday evening. Contact Rev Nick Bird for details.
