Benefice Weekend at Wydale 2019

6 - 8 September 2019 at Wydale Hall

‘The Life of a Chaplain: Stories of Faith, Mental Health and Well-Being’

Exploring with Revd Annie Rowley how mind, body and spirit are connected to our faith journey

A weekend for all ages at Wydale Hall, near Scarborough, organised by the Benefice of Rural East York.

Download the 2019 Benefice weekend information and booking form. The information is also given below.

The weekend begins with supper at about 6.30pm on Friday September 6th and ends after lunch on the Sunday.   It will provide opportunities to relax, walk, talk, or visit the coast and to join in as many of the sessions as you want to.

If you have been before you will know that Wydale Hall provides a good standard of accommodation with first class, buffet style, catering and en-suite facilities, in beautiful countryside.  Wydale Hall website will give you more information

It is an opportunity for anyone from the parishes, to come and share the fellowship we are offering on this weekend away.

We welcome especially those who have not been on a Benefice Weekend before.  If you would like to know more, please speak to Fr Nick or Judith Hewitt.

You can pay by instalments and if you find the adult fee of £150 too much please speak to Fr Nick, in confidence.

There is a reduced rate for young people under 16. (We may be able to offer reduced rates for 16 to 18’s)

Revd Anne Rowley is leading the weekend for us. Some of you will remember Annie (formerly Borthwick) when she was our curate; latterly she was the chaplain at York St John University. We hope to have activities for children.

Please complete the booking form as soon as possible. We look forward to your company on the Weekend!
